AutoAppraise is our own product: a live valuation platform for the New Zealand vehicle market. A driver enters their car's details and gets back a structured, AI-generated report on where it sits in the market and what to do next.
THE PROBLEM.
[ BEFORE ]
Working out what a car is actually worth in New Zealand means piecing together trade-in guides, dealer listings and gut feel, none of which agree with each other and none of which tell an owner what to actually do. There was no single place a driver could get a clear, structured answer in one step.
We wanted to prove Lucid AI could ship a consumer-facing AI product end to end, not just automation behind the scenes: a public platform that takes a stranger's input, runs it through a model, and returns something worth paying for.
That meant the whole stack had to exist, not just the AI layer. A report engine that produces something structured and trustworthy, a payment flow that converts a free result into a paid unlock, and hosting that stays up under real public traffic.

A report engine that takes a vehicle's details and generates a structured AI valuation: market position, price range and selling guidance, not a single number with no context.

A free-to-paid unlock flow, so a driver gets enough value from the free report to trust the platform, with a clear payment step to unlock the full breakdown.

Production hosting and infrastructure built and managed end to end in-house, the same standard we hold client systems to.
